Civic Si


I guess I finally hit the "I need a sports car" age. At the price point, the Si is absolutely awesome and really has no credible competition without spending quite a bit more money.

But they are extremely scarce; they're only two of them within 200 miles of me. To even get this one, I'm having to go to Greensboro (I'm in the NRV). Also, there won't be a 2021 model. That means production stopped around June and when the inventory in the supply pipeline runs out (those are made in Japan, not the US), that's it.

They also tend to sell pretty quick. I've had an eye on the car for over six months, and no dealership seems to keep one in stock for more than two weeks.

So I can't just walk away and try again later, and I can't just walk away and go to another dealership.

This will be very much a "thank you sir, may I have another" car buying experience.
